Lewis Hamilton: “MotoGP is just so cool'

Autosport.com reported that reigning Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has once again highlighted his passion for MotoGP™. “MotoGP is just so cool, so much more exciting to watch, I would say, just because it’s closer racing,” he said.

The Brit has dominated F1 in recent years, taking back-to-back title in 2014 and 2015, and his desire to try something different is growing. “I really need to try a MotoGP bike. I’m dying to at least get on the back of one,” though he said his team may be less than pleased about the title favourite blasting around on a MotoGP™ machine during the F1 season. If he can't get on a bike, then Hamilton is at least detirmined to see them more often: "I definitely want to make it to more races this year - I've only been to one in a season, and I want to get to some more."

Lewis Hamilton is not the first F1 driver to have a passion for MotoGP™, both Michael Schumacher and Mark Webber are huge fans of the sport with Schumacher having raced in the German domestic series.
