Haga hits the deck for the second time in practice

Red Bull Yamaha rider Noriyuki Haga crashed for the second time today midway through the final qualifying session.

The Japanese youngster lost the front end of his machine as he swept into the fast right-handed corner approaching the chicane. Both bike and rider tumbled towards the barrier at a frightening speed but fortunately they did not collide. Haga was stretchered from the side of the track then managed to get up and walk away shaken but unscathed.

He had just set his quickest lap of the session to move him into sixth place.
