Melandri fit for 250 race

Marco Melandri has made another miracle recovery from a dislocated shoulder to make the starting grid for the 250 race. The Italian picked up the injury in a spectacular crash during yesterday´s second practice and was unable to ride in the final qualifying session. However, his provisional pole time from the first day was enough to keep him on the front row and he has defied doctors and the laws of the human body to take on his 250 rivals in this, the fourth race of the season.

It is the second time Melandri has dislocated his shoulder this season, having done so the day before the first race in Japan. The brave youngster started the race there too and went on to finish in sixth place. A similar result today will be a remarkable achievement.
