Video summary of the races at the Grande Premio Marlboro de Portugal

You can now enjoy a short video highlighting the main action from all three of the races which took place at the Estoril circuit on September 9.

Valentino Rossi won the 500cc race ahead of compatriot Loris Capirossi and Garry McCoy, whilst his main title rival, Max Biaggi fell for the second time in two races, although this time he was in third position and Rossi was in first. Now Valentino holds a 43-point lead over Max.

In the 250cc category Katoh also made a huge step towards what would be his first World title as he dominated the race ahead of the Aprilias of Melandri and Harada who were unable to prevent the flying Honda rider from taking his seventh win of the season. Fonsi Nieto performed heroics late on to stay on his bike after what seemed would be a big highside. Like Rossi in 500, Katoh has a massive lead over his main rival, 44 points over Tetsuya Harada.

Poggiali took victory ahead of Ui and Elias in the 125 class. The Spanish youngster is still leading the title race with a 13 point advantage over the San Marino rider.
