Abe raises 4.794 Euros from auction of his leathers, gloves and boots

The auction of racing equipment held by Norick Abe on his personal website has raised a total of 4.794 Euros after two weeks of intense bidding. This aforementioned sum will shortly be presented to an charity organisation which works to help under-priviledged children in Japan. The initiative has been a great success, and Abe is delighted by the excellent total raised.

The bidding for the equipment, Abe's own leathers, boots and gloves, closed on Feb 28 and the final total was made public today. Abe will be donning new kit to get back on his bike at the Circuit de Catalunya this weekend for the third round of pre-season IRTA tests, there he will be accompanied by new Yamaha D'Antin team-mate, Pere Riba.
