Repsol Honda continues to take the advantage in the Teams World Championship

Repsol Honda is continuing its cavalry charge at the head of the standings in the MotoGP Team World Championship. With Rossi taking first place yet again, and with Ukawa in second at the Gran Premi Marlboro de Catalunya the team are now up to a total of 242 points in first place in the table, while second placed West Honda Pons have 116.

Barros and Capirossi's squad is in a battle for the runners-up spot with the Marlboro Yamaha team, who are now just four points behind them after scoring well this past weekend. Meanwhile the Antena 3 Yamaha D'Antin team has slipped down a position to fourth after picking up just a solitary point in Catalunya with Pere Riba's 15th place. The second Spanish round of the season is the one in which most number of teams have scored, with every single one picking up points except Kanemoto Racing, who had to watch in agony as Vd Goorbergh was taken out on the first lap.
