Rossi receives Dutch rose honour at Assen

Celebrations were complete for Valentino Rossi after his Gauloises Dutch TT victory at Assen on Saturday when he was presented with a particularly special bunch of flowers. The bright yellow hybrid-T rose has a strong color and a very elegant flower bud and was named after the MotoGP World Champion after passing the required tests in June 2002.

`I feel a little bit like a lady receiving flowers!´ joked Rossi afterwards. `Seriously though this is a very special and unusual honour and the perfect way to end an excellent weekend in Holland.´ Early next year the `Rossi´ will be introduced in many countries around the world by breeders Terra Negra.
