MotoGP opens paddock to raise funds for flood-affected Czech Republic

Due to the extraordinary flooding which brought tragedy and grief to the Czech Republic in recent weeks, MotoGP organisers have made exceptional arrangements to allow 500 members of the public into the paddock on Sunday in aid of ongoing recovery operations. The price of each entry will be 100 euros for tickets that will be on sale at the Brno circuit throughout the weekend. All benefits (50,000 euros) will be donated to the Czech Republic Government.

In addition, the international television feed on Sunday, broadcast live to over 200 countries through more than 50 networks around the globe, will feature a flash line graphic listing details of a special bank account opened by the Czech Republic Government for sympathisers in all corners of the world to provide financial aid to the communities which continue their battle to overcome these difficulties.
