Mick Doohan pleased for Yamaha

First of all I have to say that I really enjoyed today´s race and I am pleased for Max Biaggi and Yamaha because they have worked hard all season and deserved their win. It is good for the championship and for the spectacle that there is good competitive racing out there and that is what we have seen today. It was bad luck for Valentino Rossi but he has had no other such problems all season and these things happen in racing.

It was good to see three 250cc World Champions out there fighting for the victory and I think it proved that Brno is a track that really suits the 250 style. It favours riders with a clean, slick riding style and that is shown by the amount of times Biaggi has now won here. There are just six races to go now and I am sure that Rossi will come back strongly for the rest of the season and pick up the World Championship title that he has seemed destined for since the start of the year.
