Filart the latest substitute for Janssen within the DeGraaf GP Team

Rob Filart will take part in the Marlboro Grand Prix of Portugal as a replacement for Jarno Janssen in the DeGraaf Grand Prix Team. Filart will be the second man to ride Janssen´s bike this year, with Henk van de Lagemaat having ridden the Honda to 19th position in Brno.

The 28 year old rider has six Grand Prix starts to his name - three in the 125 class and a further three in the 250 class. His first Grand Prix appearance was at the Dutch TT, in Assen, as a wildcard in the 125 race.

Filart claimed two Dutch Championships, in 1996 and in 1997. This year he´s competing in the European Championship aboard an Aprilia. The Dutch rider is currently lying in 12th position.
