Rain or shine, consistent Steve Jenkner is hopeful of first win at Estoril

Steve Jenkner has continued his regular form in Estoril this weekend and with the unpredictable weather conditions sure to play a part on Sunday, the experienced German is many people´s tip for a fourth podium finish of the season. Jenkner has been a model of consistency in the unpredictable 125 class all season, finishing every race in the points, and believes that he is now ready to take the next step and pick up his first victory.

`I have had a taste of the podium and I would like another one on Sunday, but what I really dream of is my first win,´ he admits. `This year I have been able to be consistent because this is the first time I have had two consecutive seasons with the same team. We come to the races with a full basis of information, as opposed to maybe just 70%. Now we are ready to take the next step and I would like it to be here at Estoril. We have a good dry set-up from Friday and if it rains I will feel more than at home because I come from Germany!´.
