Max Biaggi (1st): `I have pushed hard since Friday and we have made great progress. This track is not my favourite but we improved throughout the sessions and in the last five to ten minutes today I was able to put my head down and go at my pace for a fast lap.´

Valentino Rossi (2nd): `This bike clearly has a few problems at this track and we have worked hard to solve them but we are not at 100%. We will try and work out one small problem in the morning warm-up, but anyway the race is about having a good rhythm – not setting one fast lap – and I am satisfied. Jeremy McWilliams (3rd): `Hopefully we can repeat this performance in the race, but it will be very difficult. The Bridgestone tyres have worked very well here and if they can last a whole race then we can be in the top five or six. The problem is I´m not sure how long they will last because we didn´t have the chance to put enough laps together today.´
