Seidel wins Dark Dog Challenge to MotoGP

Matti Seidel won the first ever Dark Dog Challenge to MotoGP series after taking second place in the eighth and final round at Hockenheim this weekend. Georg Frölich took victory in the 14 lap race, holding off Seidel and Piller for victory by less than half a second after a thrilling battle for victory over the final few laps.

The only rider who had a mathematical chance of denying Seidel the title was Max Müller, but he finished just 0.3 seconds ahead of Didier Grams in fourth place and missed the podium scrap by a full seven seconds.

Seidel took his season´s points tally to 148, compared to 119 for Müller and the 108 of Oliver Skach, who takes an overall third place in the inaugural edition of the series designed to uncover new motorcycling talent in Germany.
