Moriwaki announce MotoGP plans

Moriwaki Engineering Ltd have announced plans to contest the MotoGP World Championship in 2004, with wildcard appearances planned for 2003. The machine, which has been given the codename MD211VF, will carry a HRC supplied RC211V engine within a chassis originally developed by Moriwaki. The firm confirmed that no sponsorship package has been signed and that they are currently looking for additional sponsors.

`There is nothing more exciting for a private team to develop a machine that can compete at the world´s highest level,´ said Race Co-ordinator Mamoru Moriwaki. `It is also a great honour to be supplied with HRC powered RC211V and I am confident Moriwaki Racing will justify this arrangement.´
