Tetsuya Harada says farewell to MotoGP

Tetsuya Harada announced in Valencia, where was held the last Grand Prix of the season, his decision to retire from competitive racing. The 32-year-old japanese leaves the MotoGP paddock after 145 GP starts in 10 years. The Chiba-born rider mainly shone in the 250cc class, as he clinched the title in the quarter litre class in his first campaign, but also displayed strong performances in the blue riband class. Aboard the Aprilia RSW two-cylinders, he took one pole position and two podium finishes.
