First official photographs of the Moriwaki MD211VF

Last week we witnessed the final tests held by Moriwaki Engineering Ltd at the Motegi circuit, today we can reveal the first official images of the MD211VF, the Japanese bike developed for the MotoGP Championship.

Moriwaki, who has announced his intention to compete in the 2004 Moto GP series and attempt some of the races this season as a wild card, supervised the shakedown sessions in Motegi, the third set of tests since he declared his plans, to continue the evolution of the prototype.

The riders Masao Okuno and Tamaki Serizawa can be seen here in the photograph with company owner Mamoru Moriwaki, and of course the motorcycle. The MD211VF has a RC211V motor supplied HRC, with a custom Moriwaki chassis and Dunlop tyres. After the tests last week the project will continue to be refined and worked on in the next month.
