Team Hungary have announced that 250cc rider Gabor Rizmayer´s debut Grand Prix season is over before it has begun, and that the young Hungarian will be replaced by Austrian youngster Yves Polzer. The news comes today with the publication of an updated provisional entry list, which holds no other changes with just four weeks remaining until the season opener at Suzuka.

Polzer, a carpenter by trade, finished fourth in the 125cc German Championship (IDM) in 2000, before stepping up to ride in the quarter-litre class of the same series in 2001, finishing tenth aboard a TSR Honda. The 21 year old also finished twelfth in the Euro-Open that season, as well as an admirable twelfth place in the Valencia round of the Spanish Championship when he raced against six World Championship riders. He ended the season as German Rookie of the Year and confirmed his potential in 2002 most notably with a sixth place finish in the Spanish Championship race at Jerez.
