Views and thoughts from the top three after the Arnette Africa´s GP

Sete Gibernau, winner:

´I don´t really have words to express what this means.
There have been two sides to this weekend. One is dealing with the tragedy in Suzuka, where everybody, myself the team and the sport in general has been suffering. The other side is the sheer wave of support from sponsors, supporters and the team that made this weekend bearable. Motorcycling and Motorcycle racing is the winner today.
All the riders, not only myself, have made the best tribute we can give to Daijiro Kato.
I have to thank my family and the team, from the first person to the last. I am happy to win for them and Daijiro is someone we will carry in our hearts for all our lives.´

Valentino Rossi, second place:

´I am very happy because this is not a normal second place. I don´t think it was only Sete riding out there. It was a mix between the aggression of Gibernau and the smooth style of Daijiro Kato that won.
I had a hard battle with Bayliss and it was a strange race. Second place is a decent result for me and the team today.

Max Biaggi, third place:

´I am pleased with this result because on the warm-up lap my bike started to lose power like it had done on Friday. The mechanics could not change much on the grid so it was a good ride considering. I could follow Bayliss and Rossi but when I was in second I could not catch Sete. Third position in these circumstances is fine and I am happy for Sete and his team; this is a fitting memorial for Kato.
