Roby Rolfo looks on the bright side

Roberto Rolfo was in positive mood in the wake of the Arnette Africa´s Grand Prix, despite continuing his disappointing run of form on the new Honda RSW. The Italian was relegated to fifth spot on the final lap of the race by factory colleague Sebastian Porto, who switched from Yamaha during the winter, after qualifying behind the Argentinean on the second row of the grid. However, the youngster remained upbeat about the result and insisted the team had made important progress.

`I am pleased with how both myself and my team have worked - the overall the result is positive,´ said Rolfo. `I made a couple of mistakes which no doubt cost me places but in general I feel we are on the right track. My first mistake was that I got the clutch stuck coming off the line which caused me to lose contact with the front of the race.´

`Then I made my second mistake right at the end while trying to hold off Sebastian Porto. I´d managed to keep him at bay for a number of laps but then ran wide in a corner and let him through. Obviously I regret those two errors, but on balance it has been a good weekend. At the start I lost touch with the group I needed to be with, but the chassis was good enough for me to make progress in the race. I´m feeling better about this result considering the problems we had.´
