Vincent prepared to face tough test ahead of his home GP

It´s fair to say that defending World Champion Arnaud Vincent is a long shot for a podium place this weekend at this home GP in Le Mans. The KTM rider is deep within the team's tricky first development year and has only scored a handful of points in one race from the first three rounds of the 2003 series. Here´s what he had to say on the eve of arguably his most treasured GP of the season:

´It is hard but I know that KTM are working around the clock to get the bike up to speed. All I can do is give my maximum on the track and that is just what I am doing. It is a frustrating situation but I am hopeful that soon we can have some more power and I can be fighting for the front positions.´

´It is really hard to come to my home race knowing that I will not be able to defend the number one plate. I want to show the French public that I deserve it, so it is a shame that I won´t be able to. However, I believe in the KTM project and I know how hard they are working, so I am sure it will not be long before I can reward my fans with some top results again.´
