Sabbatani hoping to be fit for outing in Brno

Max Sabbatani is slowly recovering from his crash last Friday in the first day of practice at the Cinzano Grand Prix of Germany. The Italian rider suffered a hefty and complicated fall in which he fractured the first lumbar vertebrae and wasn't able to start the race on Sunday. After an examination to make sure there was no neurological damage because of the spill, Sabbatani is now resting at home in Forli, Italy, and undergoing the therapy prescribed by Doctor Costa of the Clinca Mobile.

`Dr. Costa has given me a machine so that I can make magnet-therapy every day at home and ordered me to rest as much as possible, at least for the next ten days. So for the summer break I will be staying inside the house, there isn't a quicker way to recover´, the small rider resigned.

Sabbatani plans to take his place on the Abruzzo Racing machine at the next Grand Prix, that occurs at Brno on 17th August: `It was only a tiny fracture, and the doctors believe that everything will be OK and there should be no problems for me to race at the Czech Grand Prix. That thought for me is the most important thing at this current moment in time.´
