Vincent negotiating with Derbi and Aprilia in Brno

Arnaud Vincent was back in the paddock at the Brno circuit on Thursday despite his recent sacking by KTM. The 125cc World Champion is without a ride for this weekend's Gauloises Grand Prix Ceske Republiky but revealed that he was negotiating with various teams for a deal for the remainder of the season. "I have possibilities with Derbi and Aprilia but things still have to be ironed out," revealed Vincent, who won his title riding an Aprilia last year. "It may be too late to organise something for this weekend but I will be trying my best until the last possible moment."

Speaking of his departure from the Austrian manufacturer, Vincent added: "I was surprised. I have given everything I could into the project but both myself and KTM weren't rewarded for our efforts and they decided to release me from my contract."
