Pedrosa enjoys some free time in Australia and confirms that he still wants to win

After his World Championship conquest in Malaysia, Dani Pedrosa has arrived relaxed in Australia and has already been using some of his free time before his commitment this weekend for round 15 of 16 to visit Melbourne Zoo. Accompanied by fellow Honda riders Sebastián Porto and Nicky Hayden, the new 125cc number one enjoyed posing with some wildlife typical of the local area including kangaroos, koalas and wombats.

The Catalan also stated that without a doubt he is still hungry for victory and will be pushing for further race wins in 2003. "I am still up there with the clouds; the emotion of the success of last weekend in Malaysia is something I cannot describe, I don't know what to say about how I was feeling at that moment in time," he explained. "It was the culmination of a long year and a reward for all the people who have helped me over the years."

"Now we have to think about Philip Island and start to concentrate again on being able to fight for the win because there are still two races left," continued the 18 year old. `This weekend there is no pressure and I want to enjoy the race and take the chequered flag. Obviously I would like to do the same in Valencia in front of the Spanish fans. What could be better then celebrating a title and another win in front of all of them!"
