Valentino Rossi original helmet awarded to the winner of Team Manager

The overall winner of the Team Manager competition here at www.motograndprix.com, has been awarded with the grand prize of an original Valentino Rossi helmet. Moulin William from France took top spot at the end of the series, demonstrating his knowledge of the MotoGP World Championship as he racked up a total of 1756.01 points with his team 'Crevouille'.

Moulin's squad was made up of a mixture of youth and experience, selecting World Champion and consistent points source Valentino Rossi as his lead rider, alongside determined Suzuki battler John Hopkins. However, perhaps his key signings were in the team and machine selections, where Moulin gambled on the debuting Ducati Marlboro squad and the embryonic Desmosedici, which took the championship by surprise as it stormed to podiums and a race victory in its first season at the hands of Troy Bayliss and Loris Capirossi.

The 2003 Team Manager series proved to be a roaring success, with 2,438 people taking part and the sixteen individual Grand Prix winners round taking away two paddock passes for a race of their choice. Keep an eye on the Community section of the website for news about next year's competitions.
