´I am disappointed and sad with this result. My mistake on the last lap prevented me from fighting with the lead. I was trying to make up a lot of ground on the last lap. This is my second consecutive podium, which is not bad but it could be better. Next time I hope I can finally get the win.´ Roberto Rolfo, 2nd position: ´This is a positive result and I am happy to have made a good race. I had problems with the rear tyre and was trying to feel for some grip, it was also very hard to try and stay with the Aprilias. I have to say thanks to the team because we have made a big improvement in the last few weeks. I was concentrating a lot on the last turn to keep my position and try to challenge Elias but I must pay my compliments to him because he rode very well under difficult circumstances and deserved his win.´ Toni Elias, winner: ´This is a very special day. To win here at my home GP is amazing. I had a bad start and was struggling setting up my suspension this weekend. As the race went on and the fuel load lightened I felt tired but also that I could go quicker. I did not think that I could win because my hand was really hurting after the operation days ago. I must say thanks to everyone who cares about me like my friends and family and the doctors who worked to get me here today. A big thank you also to the fans who were fantastic; I am so happy.´
