Max Biaggi from the Honda presentation in Tokyo

Anybody who thinks they have seen the biggest hotel in the world needs to go to Japan, to the Okura Tokyo Hotel chosen by Honda for their official presentation yesterday. Yesterday morning I decided to use the gym but I completed half of my training programme trying to find it. When I eventually got there I bumped into Alex Barros. "I am about 70% fit," he told me. I think I was only about 80% myself by that point. Jokes apart I trained with Alex, we did some work on the treadmill and did a few weights, and he looks to be recovering well.

After eating, at around two o'clock, the Honda presentation began and it didn't finish until ten at night. I was very tired, I have to admit. We began with press and televisión interviews before doing the press conference, photographs and then dinner. During the interviews I was asked about my victory at Motegi, which reminded me of the importance of winning races here, and of course about next season. I told them I was hoping to win more than two races and that my aim was to fight for the title.

We'll know more about that at the next test in Malaysia on the 11th February. That is when we will all have the bikes with which we will start the season. Anyway, I'm going to stay in Tokyo for a while and on Saturday I'm going to Yokohama to visit a Honda superstore (where I will turn up on a CBR600) and meet some fans. There will be an autograph session and then a meal with my Japanese fan club.

Ciao everybody!
