Team Seedorf test in Barcelona

Team Seedorf Racing continued with their busy preseason testing at the Circuit de Catalunya on Wednesday. Álvaro Bautista continued with his promising form as he improved his previous best time at the Spanish track by seven tenths of a second. Team-mate Héctor Barberá, who experienced suspension problems, and the team's Spanish Championship representative Ismael Ortega were also present at the one-day test.

"Today my objective was just to get some laps in because I wasn't really fit when we rode here last year," explained Bautista. "I injured myself at the Spanish Championship round and I was recovering from an operation at the Grand Prix. The main thing I have noticed today though was the performance of the Dunlop tyres compared to the Bridgestones we used last season. I have improved my best time here by quite a considerable margin so I am satisfied, although I am already looking forward to coming back here next week to improve my time even further."

"I had problems with the suspension as soon as I went out this morning," explained Barberá. "We tried everything we had available so we can put today down to a testing day. Having said that it's not much use because next week we'll have the new material available and then I will start to go for the lap times. We spent a lot of time in the box today and when I was out on the track I was careful not to risk anything so as far as the results go there is nothing really sparkling top report. The next test will be different though."
