Hayden house-hunt to continue across Europe

Nicky Hayden has yet to decide where to set up his permanent base in Europe during the MotoGP World Championship season, despite the persuasive efforts of Repsol Honda team boss Carlo Fiorani and his new Brazilian team-mate Alex Barros. Fiorani has spent the last year trying to convince the 22 year old from Kentucky, USA, to move to Rome in Italy, whilst Barros thinks he would enjoy life more in his own hometown of Barcelona in Spain.

Hayden, however, is unconvinced. "They're both trying to persuade me but right now I ain't sold on either of them!" laughed Hayden, who had barely ventured outside of USA before making the switch from AMA to MotoGP at the start of 2003. "I spent last year generally travelling around in my motorhome, checking out Europe and seeing which bits I like and, while it's all really nice, I couldn't really say where I want to settle. I'll keep on looking".
