The key corners at Mugello with John Hopkins

Team Suzuki rider John Hopkins has been forced to sit out the action at Mugello this weekend after the broken thumb injury he sustained in Le Mans three weeks ago failed to recover in time for the fourth round of the MotoGP season. However, the young American has been a keen spectator at the Italian circuit, watching all the practice sessions from various key vantage points around the track perimeter.

In our exclusive feature, Hopkins takes us out to his favourite corners of the 5.245km circuit, starting with the Arrabiata 1 & 2 double right-hander, followed by the Biondetti right-left chicane and the all-important Bucine corner – the final left-hand hairpin which brings the riders back into the start-finish straight.
