Roberto Carlos warms up for MotoGP

A group of Brazilian soccer stars warmed up for a weekend of MotoGP race action on Friday night with a friendly game against a group of Spanish journalists and Seedorf Racing 125cc riders Hector Barberá and Alvaro Bautista at a Rio de Janeiro sports centre.

Whilst team owner Clarence Seedorf was unable to join in due to Holland's run to the semi-finals of Euro 2004, his former Real Madrid team-mate Roberto Carlos provided a stunning demonstration of samba footwork alongside fellow Brazilian international stars Djalminha and Emerson.

Although the riders and press barely got a touch of the ball, Barberá and Bautista will get the chance to impress this weekend when the players attend the Cinzano Rio Grand Prix.
