Janakova sets sights on Sachsenring

Marketa Janakova is confident of racing at the Veltins Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland in two weeks time despite suffering from a series of minor injuries sustained in a nasty crash at Rio on Sunday.

The 16 year old female Czech star was knocked clean out in the incident but quickly recovered consciousness in the circuit medical centre and immediately began to look forward to returning to action at Sachsenring.

Janakova, who also suffered a small fracture on her right foot as well as knocks to her right knee, shoulder and hand, was drafted into the Angaia Racing squad as cover for the dropped Mattia Angeloni at Assen but now looks certain to contest the rest of the season after impressing team bosses in Holland and Brazil.
