Kato project continues to grow

One of the main projects initiated by Daijiro Kato before his death recieved a major boost on the celebration of his birthday last Sunday. As well as long-time friend Makoto Tamada winning his first Grand Prix in Rio and dedicating it to the former 250cc World Champion, Kato's administrative company presented a new minibike, called the ‘74 Dream'.

The bike will be on sale in November and is sure to be on display at the next edition of the Daijiro Cup, a minibike competition started by Kato to give youngsters access to competitive motorcycle racing. The series, run at the Akigase circuit where Kato began racing, celebrated its second year in February.
