The Craner Curves at Donington Park is one of the most mysterious and legendary sections of racetrack on the MotoGP World Championship calendar. Loved by some riders and hated by others, the downhill right-left-right flick is fast and dangerous a fact Ruben Xaus found out to his cost in the first free practice on Friday morning although not quite as spectacularly as Tohru Ukawa, who had a major crash at the same point of the track in 2002.

In this exclusive feature, Randy Mamola gets up close to the corner and explains its unique features, including why it is so important to a good lap time here this weekend.
