Barberá unhappy with Lorenzo

Hector Barberá revealed his frustration after finishing seventh in a 125cc race he looked set to win. The young Spaniard charged through from 24th on the grid to lead the main pack chasing breakaway leader Andrea Dovizioso.

Having caught the Italian, Barberá looked set to go on and win the race but was caught up in a frenetic battle on the final lap, when he was pushed wide by eventual winner Jorge Lorenzo.

"It was a pretty difficult race because I started so far back and I had no option but to fight my way through," explained Barberá, who now trails Dovizioso by 45 points in the championship. "I was about four seconds behind Dovizioso and it was really difficult to catch him – especially because I had to punish the tyres quite badly.

"In the last few laps I just didn't have the same grip. It came down to a fight with Jorge and a few corners from the end he braked in a corner where you would usually accelerate, forcing me to also brake and run wide to avoid him.

"As far as I am concerned it wasn't a clean move, but I've learnt my lesson now and hopefully it won't happen next time."
