Behind the scenes at Arai helmets

The Camel Grand Prix of Japan represents a home race for many members of the paddock, not just the riders. For Arai helmets the Motegi round represents a chance for them to work from their permanent workshop at the Twin Ring circuit, as opposed to the mobile unit which they take to each of the European rounds.

In this exclusive feature, motogp.com takes you behind the scenes at Arai with Hiro Kimura, Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of the Japanese helmet manufacturer, who explains the intricacies of their work in the MotoGP paddock and their importance to riders such as Sete Gibernau, John Hopkins, Nicky Hayden, Kenny Roberts and Shinya Nakano.
