Porto satisfied with fourth

Sebastián Porto said he was satisfied with fourth place after a race completely dominated by Honda in Japan. The Argentinean could do nothing to stop Dani Pedrosa from extending his advantage at the top of the 250cc World Championship but moved to within one point of Randy de Puniet in second place after the Frenchman crashed and finished eleventh.

"I'm not too disappointed with the result because we've made up some important points," commented Porto. "We knew before we came that this would be the toughest track for us and that turned out to be the case.

"We couldn't match the Hondas all weekend but anyway, I was fourth today and I'm a point behind De Puniet. We couldn't stop Pedrosa but there are still four races left and will keep working to our maximum. We saw the difference between the Aprilia and the Honda today so I am sure Aprilia will be working hard to be at the front again in the next races.

"I gave everything today and so did my team. Let's see if we have a bit more luck at the circuits which should be more favourable for us."
