Biaggi expresses his disappointment

Max Biaggi could not hide his disappointment after seeing his MotoGP World Championship hopes all but disappear in a cloud of dust on the first lap of the Camel Grand Prix of Japan.

Biaggi explained his point of view as the first corner pile-up occurred, saying that he saw John Hopkins flying through the air and was forced off track by a Ducati, which he later discovered belonged to Loris Capirossi.

Visibly upset, Biaggi then explained how he tried to pick up his Honda but couldn't see which was his bike due to the dust and had to retire from the race. Asked about his chances of winning the title, Biaggi simply replied: "Next question please."
