Bikes and legends unite in Pesaro

MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi's birth region of Pesaro in Italy is home to more than just one legend this weekend thanks to a charity motorsport weekend organised by his father Graziano. The entry list is a ‘who's who' of Grand Prix, with the Rossi family joined by some of the leading riders of the past and the present.

Giacomo Agostini, Kent Andersson, Luca Cadalora, Phil Read, Loris Reggiani, Kevin Schwantz, John Surtees and Carlo Ubbiali will be going head-to-head with Rossi, Loris Capirossi, Marco Melandri, Franco Battaini, Alex de Angelis, Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso at MOMI (Motos & Mitos – meaning Bikes & Legends), a fairground stlye event with rallys, go-karts and supermotos. Even former World Rally Champion Colin McRae will be joining in the fun.

As well as enjoying the racing on the track, the thousands of fans expected over the weekend will also be able to enjoy an array of refreshment stands and commercial vendors selling motorcycling equipment and memorabilia.
