Checa satisfied with return to form
Carlos Checa continued a positive start to the season with fourth place at his home Grand Prix at Catalunya last Sunday. The Spaniard was one three Yamaha riders in the top four in a factory squad rejuvenated by the arrival of MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi.
After crashing out of the last race at Mugello, the Barcelona race was Checa's third top six finish from the opening five rounds, including a podium finish at Le Mans, and the 31 year old admitted he was satisfied with his form so far.
