Gibernau maintains control in FP2

Sete Gibernau continued to dominate his home Grand Prix in the second free practice at the Catalunya circuit this morning, setting the fastest time of the session as he had done in both official practices yesterday.

Gibernau was 0.337 second quicker than closest chaser Valentino Rossi, whilst Max Biaggi was third fastest and Colin Edwards showed signs of improvement with the fourth quickest time.

Dani Pedrosa replicated his compatriot's dominance in the 250cc class, setting the quickest lap for the third practice out of three. Andrea Dovizioso and Roberto Locatelli set the pace in 125.
