World Ducati Week in full swing

World Ducati Week reaches its climax this weekend as a seven day festival of speed culminates with a celebration of all things red at the Santa Monica racetrack in Misano Adriatico, Italy.

WDW began on the 17th May and runs up until this Sunday, with Ducati fans from around the world enjoying non-stop activities at the renowned Santa Monica racetrack and in the specially mounted paddock, which features a gym, swimming pool and casino, as well as soaking up the sun on the nearby Mediterranean beaches.

This weekend fans will get to enjoy a packed programme, with MotoGP and Superbike Team presentations, motorbike games, hot air balloon rides, stuntmen, dragsters, helicopters and parachutists, live music, a pit-lane barbeque, a fireworks display, Awards Ceremony and the chance to meet Ducati factory MotoGP racers Loris Capirossi and Troy Bayliss. Plus, the four highest bidders from an auction in aid of Riders for Health will get their chance to ride on the two-seat Desmosedici MotoGP machine with legendary former racer Randy Mamola.

If that wasn't enough, Ducati have confirmed that CEO Federico Minoli will make a major ‘sensational surprise announcement' announcement on Saturday live from the stage at WDW.
