Nani Roma pays a visit to Montmeló

On the first day of the MotoGP official test, the paddock is already starting to buzz with fans, medias and guests, including Motorsport figures like rally raid specialist Nani Roma.

The winner of the 2003 Dakar, who made a surprise switch to four wheels last season and already achieved promising results, closely followed the proceedings at the Catalunya circuit.

"I came here to enjoy the atmosphere of the paddock. MotoGP is a very competitive Championship, relying on advanced technologies and it's even more spectacular when you can have a close look at it."

"Last year, I supported Rossi even if his move to Yamaha put his chances in doubt. This year, I think he will be even stronger as he was able to go further with the development of the bike," he remarked.

"However, I'm sure Sete (Gibernau) and Biaggi will be able to perform well, as they will have really good material and should be very competitive. I think the battle is going to be very interesting. I will spend some time with Sete, it's an important weekend as it seems to be the first serious test of the season."
