In an effort to promote the Czech riders entered in the 125 and 250 classes, the Brno Autodrom is launching a new project called ‘'. The popularity of Grand Prix racing is growing within the Czech Republic and last year's Gauloises Grand Prix Ceske Republiky won the coveted IRTA ‘Best Grand Prix Trophy'. The project will help raising the profile of the event even more.

"Last year we backed Lukás Pesek for his first full season in the World Championship," explained Pavel Hanák, marketing and PR director of the Brno Autodrom. "This year, we want to support more Czech riders: Jakub Smrz (Arie Molenaar Racing Team), Radek Rous (Wurth Honda BQR) and Karel Abraham (AB Cardion Blauer USA) – two experienced riders and a youngster with great potential. The three will not only wear the logo, but will also take part in promotion events with our team," he added.

"Having three riders in the Grand Prix racing should increase the interest in the sport and the event. It doesn't matter if they ride for different teams and are rivals, in the end they all fight for the right thing!" he continued. Last year, over 100,000 spectators attended the Gauloises Ceske Republiky Grand Prix, the event scoring the biggest crowd increase of the season compared to the other venues of the MotoGP calendar.
