Spanish Championships presented in Madrid

The 2005 Campeonato de España de Velocidad Buckler was presented today in Madrid, during an event attended by CSD General Manager Rafael Blanco, Real Federación Española de Motociclismo President Juan Alvarez, Dorna Sports's CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta and Heineken Spain Marketing Director Miguel de Jaime.

The Spanish series will kick off this week-end at Albacete, a 3.5km track located in Andalucia. The CEV includes three categories, and the 125cc class is seen as one of the most competitive domestic championship and produced many Grand Prix riders in recent years - it's also the Championship in which the MotoGP Academy riders will be lined up this year.

The CEV also includes the Formula Extreme and the Supersport classes. Overall, twelve nations will represented this year, with riders from USA, Argentina, Israel and Qatar for example.
