Talmacsi sets early pace at cloudy Le Mans

As usual, the 125 riders were the first on track on Friday morning for the first practice session of the Grand Prix Alice de France. After yesterday's evening downpour on the French track, there were still a few damp patches on the track, but the riders made the most of this session to gather as much data as possible, as the weather forecast predicts more rain for this weekend

Red Bull KTM's Gabor Talmacsi posted the fastest time ahead of his Finn teammate Mika Kallio, the current leader of the World Championship. Spaniard Joan Olivé was third fastest, ahead of Manuel Poggiali and Fabrizio Lai.

Mattia Pasini, winner of the last Grand Prix, took sixth ahead of local heroes Mike di Meglio and Alexis Masbou.
