Fortuna Racing riders set for traditional pilgrimage

Enjoying a two-week break before the next round of the MotoGP World Championship, the Fortuna Racing team – which lines up two Spanish riders in the MotoGP class and two other in the 250cc class, will take part in the famous ‘Camino de Santiago' pilgrimage.

Toni Elias, Ruben Xaus, Jorge Lorenzo and Hector Barbera will take on a six day trip to Santiago de Compostela, following a route which passes through some marvellous and unique landscapes across Northern Spain.

The riders will start their walk from O Cebreiro, located 150km away from Santiago, on May 22nd. The final destination will be the Plaza del Obraidoiro, where the Fortuna riders will attend the traditional ceremony at the Santiago Cathedral. Their pilgrimage will end with an autograph session for MotoGP fans.
