FASTER wins Xtremey Award for "best documentary of the year"

Newly released documentary film 'FASTER' has won the award for "best documentary of the year" in the Xtremey Awards.

An electrifying tribute to the fastest sport on two wheels, the full-length film – narrated by Ewan McGregor – documents the lives of four of the sports' top riders in 2001 - Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Gary McCoy, and John Hopkins - as they travel the globe competing for the ultimate prize.

The Xtremey Awards honour the contribution that extreme sports films make to the industry. The Faster win was announced just a few days after American Repsol Honda rider Nicky Hayden attended the film's premier in New York, an event attended by the mass media.

Hayden spent two days in the Big Apple promoting the Red Bull US Grand Prix, which will take place at Laguna Seca, CA on July 10 and will be the first of its kind to take place in the US for 10 years.
