Miralles undergoes further surgery

125 Aspar Team Julián Miralles underwent surgery on Monday in order to consolidate the multiple fractures of his right leg. The young Spaniard, who had suffered a heavy crash three weeks ago at Mugello, was operated by the Dr Vilamor in the San José Hospital in Madrid, where he already had a first operation.

The youngster from Valencia will now start a daily treatment in order to avoid further surgery. According to his doctors, his recovery could last around two months.

This weekend, Mateo Túnez will stand in for him. Túnez, a regular of the Spanish Buckler CEV Championship, made his Grand Prix debut earlier this year at the opening Spanish GP in Jerez.
