Valentino Rossi's victory at the Dutch TT was his fifth successive race win. This is the first time in the 57-year history of motorcycle Grand Prix racing that a Yamaha rider has won five successive races in the premier-class.

Eight times premier-class World Champion Giacomo Agostini tops the following list that shows all the riders who have had five or more successive victories in the premier-class.

Rossi is the only rider who appears in this list riding machines from two different manufacturers.
