Yamaha celebrates 50th anniversary in style

Several MotoGP legends were on hand yesterday evening at the Monterey Bay Aquarium for Yamaha's 50th anniversary celebration party.

Many MotoGP greats such as Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson, Kenny Roberts, Giacomo Agostini and Randy Mamola joined Valentino Rossi, Colin Edwards and Yamaha president Takashi Kajikawa at the much anticipated anniversary bash – with all the riders donning the traditional Yamaha livery.

Several VIPs, who will also attend the Grand Prix, were there to join in the festivities, including Friends actor Matt Leblanc, Adrian Brody (The Pianist) and actor David Allen Grier, known for his role in films such as Instant Karma.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet their Yamaha heroes during autograph sessions throughout the weekend at designated autograph stands at Laguna Seca.
